Hello Friends and Family,

Tomorrow (Tuesday, October 22) I begin my journey to try and make a positive difference. I feel compelled to do what I can and I hope you’ll follow me in my activism.

I’m taking Amtrak (both directions to keep a low carbon footprint) to the swing state of Pennsylvania.  I am working with the grassroots organization, Seed the Vote and knocking on doors to encourage people to vote. Statistics have shown that an increase in the number of people voting always helps Democrats, which is why Republicans are so keen on suppressing the vote.

I will also be spending a weekend in Havertown, PA (where I was raised), and then I’m off to Washington DC … where I’ll be sitting in front of the White House and looking for the right time to present my sugar pine cone to Kamala Harris (or to someone who will make sure she gets it).  In my note and on the plaque on the pine cone’s clear case, I ask her to make Climate Change a high priority in her administration.
